There are 771 million people in the world who live without clean water. Every year, Elmer Allan Healthcare Inc. will donate $10,000 to charitywater.org. This will build one more well to provide clean water to families worldwide.
Charity: Water (Charity Global, Inc.) is not involved with or supporting us - it is an arm's length entity chosen by Elmer Allan Healthcare.
We strongly believe in giving back, especially to those lacking the basic necessities to live a healthy and happy life. Approximately 1 in 10 people worldwide live without access to clean water. This figure is almost double the
population of the United States. Most of these people reside in rural areas and walk several hours daily to collect water for their families. This routine of collecting water keeps children out of school and wastes valuable time parents
could use to earn money. To make matters worse, the water they collect is often contaminated and carries diseases that make everyone sick. Access to clean water is essential for education, income, and health, especially for women and
children.
